Eye in the Sky

I remember a sunset over the serene Canyonlands National Park in Utah. There was almost nobody there, yet nature created this spectacular show. We were blessed to be there at that moment... The sun looked like an eye inside the clouds. The clouds formed a hand, and the eye was in its palm. Where I come from, a hand with an eye is a symbol for protection. It felt like I was a speck of dust, yet I was watching and being a part of something much bigger. Since then, I look for that eye in the hand in every sunset.
